Larry F. Senter, 64, of Lake Ozark, passed away Aug. 16, 2007, at Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.
Cremation will take place under the care of Allee Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Camdenton. His immediate family will gather in a private service at Larry's home. Memorial contributions may be made to Dogwood Animal Shelter in Osage Beach or to the charity of your choice.
Born Jan. 17, 1943, he was the son of the late Earl and Grace Senter of Marshall. He was a graduate of Marshall High School and Central Missouri State College in Warrensburg. He retired from Missouri Southern Seed in Rolla in 2005. Larry served as an Alderman and was on the Planning and Zoning Commission in Lake Ozark. Larry was a kind and loving father, a devoted husband and loyal friend in both business and life. He cared deeply for the happiness of those close to him and was unfailingly generous in trying to help them to achieve it. His quick wit, easy humor and unabashed moral integrity will be missed by those who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Senter of Lake Ozark; four children, Delmont Senter of Weaverville, Calif., Jan Senter of Van Nuys, Calif., Jill Allen of Columbia and Beckett Senter of Boulder, Colo.; 13 grandchildren, Brittain and Macartney Senter of Brookfield, Destiny, Justice, Macy, Tristan, and Ramsey Senter of Weaverville, Calif., Christian Jackson, Madison and Max Sheffler, and Max Hill of Van Nuys, Calif., Tyler and Lexie Nielsen of Columbia; and one sister, Sandra Senter of Suquamish, Wash.
