Another area that we have been updating in the library is our paperbacks. You may notice the selection may be smaller for a short time -- we are making space to introduce a wider variety of paperback titles each month.

This week's Web site is for the birds -- and the lions, tigers, and bears! The Smithsonian's National Zoological Park offers features ranging from backyard biology to the amazon. They also feature webcams placed around the zoo. You can watch the fish in their amazon area or watch some of the big cats in their areas. Go to http://www.nationalzoo.si.edu.

For those of you who have been away from civilization in the past six months, the final Harry Potter book comes out this week. The library will be hosting a Harry Potter Party for Teens on Tuesday, July 24, at 7 p.m. You must be in sixth grade or older in order to attend. There will be crafts, tea leaf readings, and a game -- Who Wants to Be a Wizard? -- plus a drawing for a copy of the book.
