Born July 15, 1947, in Excelsior Springs, she was the daughter of the late Curtis P. Hamann and Myra Ann Jones Hamann, who survives of Richmond. She was a graduate of Richmond High School and attended the University of Missouri-Columbia. On Aug. 18, 1984, she married Russell Tieman, who survives of the home. She had lived in Alma for 20 years moving from Richmond, and was a homemaker. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Alma.
Additional survivors include two sisters, Jan Jorgensen of Springfield and Susie Rose of Richmond; two brothers, Herb Hamann of Bolivar and Hank Hamann of Warrensburg; and several nieces and nephews.
