Upon arrival, deputies made contact with several subjects in the front yard of the residence and they were identified as individuals who reside at the Blackburn residence, the report stated.
The dispute took place in the kitchen of the residence involving a 48-year-old Blackburn woman and a 49-year-old Blackburn man.
The man apparently had broken several items such as plants and cabinet doors, deputies said.
One of the deputies asked the woman to step outside and speak with him while the man stayed inside and spoke with the other deputy.
While the woman was leaving the kitchen, the man allegedly grabbed her arm to tell her something. The deputies ordered the man to release her arm and after several attempts a deputy removed his hand and placed him under arrest for domestic assault, the report stated.
While speaking to the man, a deputy reported noticing the odor of intoxicants.
According to the report, after deputies took statements from two witnesses at the scene, they transported the man to the Saline County Justice Facility. He is being held until the report can be reviewed by the Prosecuting Attorney's Office.
