SWEET SPRINGS -- If Warsaw driver Stan Kreisel was going to win his second Multi class feature race Saturday at Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex, he was going to have to come up through the pack to do it.

Both he and Concordia's Nathan Benson, the season points leader heading into the night, did so -- taking the top two spots after starting in the 18th and 17th positions, respectively. Sweet Springs' Dwayne Benson also made a move, going from 13th to sixth, one place ahead of Jacob Knipmeyer of Sweet Springs.

Tim Koch of Sweet Springs came in 12th and Chris Koch and Allen Koch, both local drivers, were 16th and 17th. Allan Koch started sixth after winning both his heat and the trophy dash.

In the Non-Wing class, Warsaw's Richard Kreisel took the checkered flag in the main event, with Sweet Springs' Quinn Jones fifth and Junior Croka of Marshall placing 10th after starting No. 2 on the grid. Points leader Zach Sanders won the trophy dash, but dropped to seventh in the feature.

Quinton Benson of Sweet Springs finished third in the Restrictor class feature, won by Lauren Klem of Basehor, Kan., after sixth-place showing in his heat race. Other winners on the night were Brandon Gray of Lee's Summit -- a repeat of the previous June 24 show, the June 31 program being rained out -- in the A class, Lindsey Carrell of Liberty in the Single class and Columbia's Garret Williamson in Junior Sprints.

The regular weekly program is set for this Saturday, with the Missouri State Show-Me Showdown -- with a purse of $31,000 -- coming to the one-sixth mile dirt oval July 25-28.
