Donna J. Ridge, 70, of Marshall, died Saturday, July 7, 2007, at The Living Center in Marshall.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 12, 2007, at Sweeney Reser Wills Funeral Home in Marshall. Elder Jean Davis will officiate. Organist Maxine Scott will accompany Fern Thayer as she sings "Old, Old Path" and "How Great Thou Art". Burial will be in the Mt. Olive Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gary Billingsley, Carl Case, Cedric Chess, Floyd Davis, John Hall, Mark Ridge and Calvin Workcuff. Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Sweeney Reser Wills Funeral Home. A memorial has been established to the American Cancer Society in care of Sweeney Reser Wills Funeral Home.
She was born April 9, 1937, at Marshall, the daughter of the late Elra McKee and Marie Kalthoff McKee. On April 30, 1955, at Marshall, she married Oscar R. Ridge; he preceded her in death on Sept. 29, 1994. She was a resident of Marshall for all of her life. She had been employed at Marshal Habilitation Center for 27 years and had recently worked with Homemakers And More through Fitzgibbon Hospital. She was a member of the Community Of Christ.
Survivors include two daughters, Cindy L. Hall and Madge M. Hall, both of Marshall; one brother, David "Butch" McKee of Los Alamos, N.M.; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Tim D. Ridge, on Sept. 29, 1995; and one brother.
