Mary L. Anderson, 70, of Marshall, died Tuesday, July 3, 2007, at The Living Center in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 6, 2007, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall with Rev. Bruce Campbell officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Johnson, Mitch Johnson, Kelly Johnson, Shane Johnson, Rodney Sell and Gary Dale Gillespie. Honorary pallbearers will be Gene McNelly, Robert Sell Jr. and Wayne McNeely. Born Dec. 20, 1936, in Chilhowee, she was the daughter of the late Isaac Sell and Mary Vickers Sell. On July 12, 1953, she married Daniel Henry Anderson, who survives of Marshall. She had lived in Marshall most of her life and had worked at ConAgra in Marshall, retiring in 1994. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
Additional survivors include four sons, Barry Anderson and wife, Laura, Richard Anderson and wife, Blanche, Danny Anderson and wife, Lucia, and Bruce Anderson and wife, Debbie, all of Marshall; one daughter, Marianne Duchone and husband Jacques of Sedalia; 19 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert Sell of Clinton; two sisters, Berniece Gillespie and Elsie Johnson, both of Clinton; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.
