Florence E. Bostwick, of Marshall, died Thursday, June 14, 2007, at Mar-Saline Manor in Marshall.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, June 18, 2007, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall. Rev. John Bostwick officiated. Burial was in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Born Jan. 11, 1913, in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late Herman Ohlendorf and Lillie Christman Ohlendorf. On Dec. 21, 1956, she married Everett H. Bostwick, who survives of the home. She had lived in Marshall the last 25 years, moving from Grain Valley. She retired from Remington Arms in Independence and was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Independence.
Additional survivors include one stepson, John Bostwick of Independence; one stepdaughter, Joan Long of Independence; one step-granddaughter; one brother, Ed Ohlendorf of Sedalia; one sister, Gladys Taaffe of Marshall; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, George Ohlendorf.
