The 28th Miami High School reunion will be held at noon Sunday, June 24, at the St. Cloud Restaurant in Miami.

The reunion is open to all graduates, students, teachers and friends who have had any connection to the school or the community, according to organizers.

Asphalt repair on Route 40 in Saline County

MACON -- The Missouri Department of Transportation announced today that asphalt repair operations will begin on Route 40 in Saline County on Monday, June 18, at 7 a.m. and will be completed on Thursday, June 28, at 4 p.m.

The project will begin at the junction of Routes 40 and Y at Emma and will continue east to end at the junction of Routes 40 and YY.

During the project, traffic will be reduced to one lane from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. each day.

Motorists are encouraged to exercise caution and pay close attention when traveling in the work zone. This project is weather-dependent and could be delayed.
