Carol J. Williams, 58, of Marshall, died Saturday, June 2, 2007, at Lexington Care Center in Lexington.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 9, 2007, at Mt. Calvary Freewill Baptist Church with Elder Frank Cummings officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at H.T. May and Son Funeral Home in Marshall.

She was born Jan. 16, 1949, in Hayti, the daughter of Jimmie and Carrie Vianna Lewis Sr. She was a special education teacher for Pemiscot County Special Schools. She was a member of the Missouri Teachers Association. She was also a member of Precious Vine Apostolic Faith Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Carla Losio of Marshall, Erica Williams of Marshall and Kelsie Fletcher of Jefferson City; two sisters, Dorothy Russell of Jefferson City and Carmen Cummings of Marshall; four brothers, Jimmie Russell Jr. of St. Louis, Marshall Russell of Seattle, Wash., Glenn Russell of Hayti and Carl Russell of Kennett; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
