Christie Lynn Ford-Plexico, 24, of Belton died Thursday, May 24, 2007, at Saint Luke's Hospital in Kansas City. Funeral services will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Raymore on Tuesday, May 29, 2007, with visitation from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, May 30, at 1 p.m. in Evergreen Cemetery, DeWitt. Services will be officiated by the Rev. J.C. Beckner. A celebration of her life will be held at the DeWitt Community Center following the graveside services. Contributions can be made to the Chelsie Collins Memorial Fund at the R.G. Federal Credit Union, 128 W. Markey Road, Belton, MO.

Born July 12, 1982, in Marshall, she was the daughter of Mark and Bobetta Plexico. After graduating from Belton High School in 2001, she earned her beautician license from the House of Heavilin Beauty College in 2002. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Raymore.

She is survived by her daughter Chelsie of Belton and husband Shannon Ford of Lynnwood, Wash.; mother Bobetta Ramsey and fiancé Eric Wilhelm of Grandview; her father and step-mother Mark and Mary Ann Plexico; sister Tracy Plexico, all of Marshall; sister Falyn Bredehoeft; brother Samuel Kieffer of Bosworth; maternal grandmother Pattie Wright of Carrollton, MO; paternal grandmother Kathryn Plexico of Marshall. She was preceded in death by her uncle Raleigh Plexico.
