Hattie Mae Parker age 94 of Marshall, Missouri left this life and went to be with Jesus on Sunday, May 27, 2007, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 2, 2007, at the Sweeney Reser Wills Funeral Home in Marshall. The Rev. Dave Smith and Rev. Cliff Cato will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Pallbearers will be Adam Davis, Joe Davis, Mike Davis, J.B. Durham, Willie Harlow and Mike Tolivar. The organist Janette Pack will accompany soloist Scottie Davis. Visitation will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, June 1, 2007, at the Sweeney Reser Wills Funeral Home.
Hattie Mae was born February 10, 1913, at Urbana, Missouri; the daughter of the late Joseph A. Parker and Eva Lina Arnold Parker. She had lived in Columbia, MO for several years and had moved to Marshall where she had been employed at the International Shoe Co. for many years before her retirement. She had lived in Marshall for most of her life. She was involved in the Foster Grandparent program for several years and was a very active member of the Southside Assembly of God Church in Marshall.
Survivors include many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Bill Parker, Paul Parker, Floyd Parker, George Parker and Charles Parker; and two sisters, Emma LaRose and Rurie Parker.
Hattie Mae will be greatly missed for her beautiful smile and her caring spirit.
