Karoline Rose Byers, 8-month-old daughter of William Wayne Byers and Elizabeth Ann Staton Byers, who survive of Marshall, died Wednesday, May 23, 2007, at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 26, 2007, at Shiloh Cemetery near Marshall. William W. Harlow will officiate. Memorials may be made to family choice c/o Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Online condolences may be sent to www.campbell-lewis.com.

She was born on September 23, 2006, in Columbia.

Additional survivors include one sister, Samantha Byers of the home; one brother, Cody Byers of the home; maternal grandparents, John and Patricia Staton of Marshall; paternal grandparents, Ron and Carla Holste of Marshall; paternal great-grandparents, Wayne and Connie Tipsword of Mason, Ill., and Arvie and Emma Holste of Altamont, Ill.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
