Mildred Schuster, 82, of Overland Park, Kan., died Tuesday, May 8, 2007, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center in Overland Park.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, May 12, 2007, at Legacy Christian Church, 10150 Antioch Road, Overland Park, KS 66212. Visitation will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the church. Graveside services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Old Lamine Cemetery in Cooper County. Born Oct. 28, 1924, in Arrow Rock, she was the daughter of the late William Henry Heuman and Millie Anna Janneck Heuman. On March 23, 1946, she married W.L. "Bill" Schuster, who preceded her in death on Aug. 30, 2006. She had lived in Overland Park the last 30 years and co-owned and operated American Business Machines in Kansas City. She was a former member of Johnson County Christian Church, now Legacy Christian Church, and was very active in Olathe Christian Church in Olathe.
Survivors include two daughters, Karen Opperman of Lee's Summit and Sherry Rush of Springfield; seven grandchildren; one sister, Doris Barnes of rural Marshall; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Cheryl Lynn Schuster and Cindy Schuster, and one brother, Elmer Heuman.
