Alexander Lawrence Kruger, 21, of Belton, died Sunday, May 6, 2007, in Overland Park, Kan.
Services will be held at Community of Christ Church in Grandview at 4 p.m. Sunday, May 13, 2007. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests gifts to the Alex Kruger Memorial Fund, Bank 10, Belton, MO 64012. Arrangements are being handled by Cullen Funeral Home in Raymore.
He was born March 25, 1986 in Overland Park, Kan. Alex was a creative, intelligent, fun-loving person with a good sense of humor. He had a special gift with people as well as with animals. He was a talented artist and enjoyed writing and music, skateboarding, and being with friends. He shared a love of nature with this grandfather, they spent much of their time outdoors camping, swimming, hunting and hiking. He was an organ donor.
He is survived by his daughter, Victoria Michelle Kruger; his fiancÚ, Michelle Brooks-Long of Belton; his mother, Charlotte Kruger of Kansas City; maternal grandmother, Leona Kruger of Grandview; two uncles, Don Kruger and his wife, Nancy, of Warrensburg and Dr. Thomas Kruger and his wife, Darlene, of Grandview; four cousins, Airman 1st Class Ben W. H. Kruger of McGuire AFB, N.J.; Mary Kruger of Anchorage, Alaska, and her son, Levi; Christopher Trent of Grandview, and Matthew Trent of Shreveport, La.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Lawrence Kruger of Grandview, and his father, Allan Guisinger of Kingman, Ariz.
