Marshall library board to consider conduct policy May 9

The Marshall Public Library's Board of Trustees will meet on Wednesday, May 9, at 7 p.m. in the library conference room.

On the agenda is the final reading and adoption of the "code of conduct" policy for patrons.

"This code is to make everyone's use of the library as pleasant and productive as possible," the policy states.

Everyone using the library is required to be civil and respect the rights and feelings of others; adhere to library policies, procedures, rules and guidelines; and cooperate with reasonable requests from library employees and volunteers.

There are 11 additional rules that break down the dos and don'ts in the library and surrounding premises.
