Ben F. Terrell Jr., 80, of Sun City, Ariz., formerly of Marshall, died Friday, April 27, 2007, in Sun City.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 4, 2007, at Sweeney-Reser-Wills Funeral Home in Marshall. The Rev. David Huck will officiate. The organist will be Ramona Bullington. Pallbearers will be Paul Lohman, Marc Sprenger, Jordan Yount, Larry Barnds, Garnett Sailor and Tash Tasova. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Thursday, May 3, 2007, at the funeral home.
He grew up in Marshall, and was a 1945 graduate of Marshall High School and Chillicothe Business College. He was known for his quick wit and great sense of humor. After 38 years, he retired from Kansas City Southern Railroad as vice president and general freight agent. He retired to Sun City.
Survivors include two sisters, Marion Shaw of Columbia and Marie Jaeger of Sun City; four nieces and two nephews.
