Harry W. Leimkuehler Sr., 85, of rural Blackwater, died Friday, April 27, 2007, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 30, 2007, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall. Rev. Chris Weber will officiate. Visitation will be held from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, April 29, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Boonville. Memorials may be made to the Fitzgibbon Cancer Center. Born September 10, 1921, in Marshall, he was the son of the late Louis William Leimkuehler and Emma Christina Meyer Leimkuehler. On April 1, 1950, he married Dorothy Louise Craig who preceded him in death on June 22, 2000. He had lived in the Blackwater community since 1945, moving from Saline County and was a farmer. He was a member of the Federated Church in Blackwater.
Survivors include one daughter, Dian Beth St. Clair of rural Nelson; one son, Bill Leimkuehler of Hardeman; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Helen Leimkuehler, and two in infancy.
