The Marshall Public Library Foundation had its quarterly meeting this month. The final numbers are in from the Valentine's Day Dance and the Foundation cleared $7,279.21. The decision was made to purchase a certificate of deposit for $6,000 and that transaction has been completed. Plans are already being discussed for the 2008 Valentine's Day Dance.
The renovation project is at the next step. Painting and carpeting will be done this week and next week we will start moving genealogy materials into their new home.
