Benjamin Houston Duncan, 86, of Denver, Colo., formerly of Marshall, died Tuesday, April 24, 2007, at Veterans Nursing Home in Denver.

Cremation. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 30, 2007, in Denver. Burial, with military honors, will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

He was born March 11, 1921, in Hermitage, the son of William and Ola Fettie Duncan. He married Ruby Fitzsimmons; she survives of the home. He resided in Marshall until 1960. Following his military service in World War II, he was a salesman.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Tom Duncan of Denver; two daughters, Judy Johnson and Patricia White, both of Denver; six grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and all of his brothers and sisters.
