Bonnie Grace Haynie, 70, of Marshall, died Saturday, April 7, 2007, at home.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2007, at Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. William W. Harlow will officiate. Friends may call until 5 p.m. Tuesday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army. Online condolences may be sent to www.campbell-lewis.com.
Born April 19, 1936, in Saline County, she was the daughter of the late Charles Walter Hirt and Grace L. Morrow Hirt. She had lived in Saline County her entire life and was a Baptist. She managed the fountain at Red Cross Pharmacy for many years and then worked at Marshall Habilitation Center, retiring in 2002.
Survivors include two sons, Jackie Haynie of Miami and Chuck Haynie and wife, Lou, of Marshall; one daughter, Cheryl Garrison and husband, Charles, of Slater; seven grandchildren, Joshua Garrison and wife, Christie, Jacob Garrison and Jessica Folk, Jenny Sims and husband, Zach, Sonya Vernold and Steven Woolery, Travis Haynie, Crissy Haynie and Nick Haynie; three great-grandchildren, Dalton Sims, Madisyn Garrison and Aidyn Garrison; three sisters, Maudie Class and Flossie Hayes both of Marshall and Mae Taylor of Miami; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Edith Keyton, and four brothers, Walter Louis Hirt, Charles Vernon Hirt, John Hirt and Robert Hirt.
