Clayton E. Bullard, 78, of Slater, died Wednesday, April 4, 2007, in Slater.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 7, 2007, at Shiloh Cemetery in Saline County. Rev. David Duncan will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 6, 2007, at Sweeney-Reser-Wills Funeral Home in Marshall.

He was born Feb. 9, 1929, in Nelson, the son of the late John L. and Frankie B. Sanderson Bullard. He married Julie Riley; she preceded him in death. He then married Frances Dillman; she also preceded him in death. He was a resident of Nelson for many years before moving to Slater.

Survivors include one brother, Roy Bullard of Kansas City; two sisters, Mary Harvey of Slater and Rebecca Breshears of Marshall; and many nieces and nephews.
