Paul S. Crutchfield, 63, of Sedalia, formerly of Malta Bend, died Sunday, April 1, 2007, at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia.
Cremation. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 5, 2007, at Malta Bend United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the church. Graveside services with military rites will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville. Born Aug. 2, 1943, in Malta Bend, he was the son of the late Paul L. Crutchfield and Dolly Richardson Crutchfield. He had lived in Malta Bend most of his life and was a graduate of Malta Bend High School. He had worked at Eidson & Ussery Truckline and was a member of Yokum Chapel A.M.E. Church in Malta Bend. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War.
Survivors include one daughter, Roma Crutchfield of Stover; two sisters, Doris Varner of Malta Bend and Darlene Crutchfield of Marshall; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Patricia Clark.
