Mary Virginia Aulgur, 83, of Sweet Springs, died Monday, March 19, 2007, at I-70 Medical Center in Sweet Springs.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 23, 2007, at First Baptist Church in Sweet Springs. Rev. Charles R. Ahlemann will officiate. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Sweet Springs. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church c/o Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home. Born Aug. 9, 1923, in Sweet Springs, she was the daughter of the late Edward C. Ahlf and Elizabeth Norman Ahlf. On January 15, 1948, she married Robert F. Aulgur, who preceded her in death on Jan. 20, 2004. She had lived in Sweet Springs her entire life and was a graduate of Sweet Springs High School. She was a nurses' aide for 20 years at Community Hospital in Sweet Springs and was also a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, David Aulgur of Sweet Springs, and two nieces.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Mildred Lane.
