Maxine "Tootie" Welpman Haynie Coe, 82, of Sweet Springs, died Monday, March 19, 2007, at The Living Center in Marshall.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 22, 2007, at Bethel United Church of Christ in Concordia. Rev. Paul Wobus will officiate. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice c/o Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home. Born Dec. 2, 1924, in Morgan County, she was the daughter of the late Frederick Welpman and Pearl Rasa Welpman. She had lived in Sweet Springs most of her life and was employed at International Shoe Company in Marshall for 40 years. She was a member of Bethel United Church of Christ and the Red Hat Society.

Survivors include several cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three husbands, Wallace Hill, Elmer Haynie and Chris Coe.
