Arthur L. "Bud" Brewer, 88, of Marshall, died Sunday, March 4, 2007, at The Living Center in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 8, 2007, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall. William W. Harlow will officiate. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Pallbearers will be Gene Griffith, Bud Griffith, Wallace Tivis, James Tivis, Kurt Whiteman and Kyle Whiteman. Memorials may be made to the Fitzgibbon Cancer Center. Born Aug. 5, 1918, in Pleasant Hill, he was the son of the late James T. Brewer and Dora Parker Brewer. In May 1942, he married Wilma Jeanne Lilleston, who preceded him in death on Dec. 25, 1990. He married Pauline Brewer, who survives. He had lived in Marshall the last five years, moving from Clinton, and was a meat cutter for Safeway for 45 years. He was a graduate of Warrensburg High School and a member of First United Methodist Church in Clinton.
Additional survivors include one son, Dick Brewer and wife, Linda, of Marshall; one daughter, Mary Lee Foglesong of Harbor, Ore.; two grandsons; one granddaughter; one step-grandson; one step-granddaughter; nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Edna Whiteman, and husband, Ed, of Liberty; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents and first wife, he was preceded in death by three sisters, one step-grandson and one son-in-law, George Foglesong.
