Homer Garrison, 85, of Marshall, died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2007, at Mar-Saline Manor in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 1, 2007, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall. Rev. Cliff Cato and William W. Harlow will officiate. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials may be made to Southside Assembly of God. Born May 28, 1921, in Mill Creek, he was the son of the late Jess and Florence Garrison. On Feb. 19, 1941, he married Velma Mae Arnold, who survives. He had lived in Marshall most of his life and worked in the maintenance department of ConAgra for over 40 years. He was a member of Southside Assembly of God.
Additional survivors include one daughter, Linda Tennill of Marshall; one son, Jerry Garrison and wife Joyce of Marshall; two granddaughters, Theresa Brooks and husband Jeff and Laura Cassidy and husband Jake; one grandson, John Tennill; one great-grandson, Kevin Brooks; one brother, Wilbert Garrison and wife Shirley of Marshall; one sister, Fern Greenfield of Independence; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.
