Frances Lucille Meyer, 95, of Syracuse, formerly of Marshall, died Thursday Feb. 22, 2007, at Tipton Oak Manor in Tipton.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 26, at Fortuna United Methodist Church, with David Rimel officiating. Graveside services and interment were at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. To send sympathy condolences for the family online, visit www.kidwellgarber.com. She was born Aug. 31, 1911 in Bynumville, the daughter of Fred and Mary Ann Gatterman Krager. She married Otto M. Meyer on June 27, 1936; he preceded her in death on Sept. 29, 1979. She was a homemaker, member of the Fortuna United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, WPFA Women's Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by two daughters, Carol Arnold of Syracuse and Mary Jo Rimel of Blum, Texas; a stepdaughter, Dorothy Liles of Mesa, Ariz.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and many other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Clyde Krager, Wayne Krager and Walter Krager; and one sister, Sylvia Krager.
