Lorene Eaheart, 96, of rural Miami, died Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2007, at The Living Center in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 24, 2007, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall with visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Rev. Jan Schnepf will officiate. The pallbearers will be Larry Holland, Clark Driskell, John Plattner, Gary Reynolds, Gene Schroeder and Bill Vardiman. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery. Born Sept. 21, 1910, she was the daughter of the late Roscoe Schanz and Dora Butterwick Schanz. On Oct. 2, 1941, she married Dabney L. Eaheart, who preceded her in death on April 13, 1984. She had lived in Saline County most of her life, where she was a homemaker and a member of Miami United Methodist Church and Fairville Extension Club.
Survivors include one son, Edwin M. Eaheart and wife, Judy, of rural Miami; two grandchildren, Nancy Ripperger and husband, Brian, and David Eaheart; and three great-grandchildren, Molly, Justin and Emily Ripperger.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Marvin Schanz.
