Jack Browne, 61, died Feb. 13, 2007, at Harry S. Truman Veterans Hospital in Columbia.

Military graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 19, 2007, at the Miller Chapel Cemetery in Pettis County. Online condolences may be left at www.heartlandcremation.com.

He was born April 13, 1945, the son of James and Sarah Browne. He served in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Coral Sea. He moved to Marshall in 2003, where he was a member of VFW Post 2646.

Survivors include sons Kevin Browne and Mark Browne of Austin, Texas; one granddaughter; a brother, Kenneth Glass of Clackamas, Ore.; three sisters, Pat Dionne of Concordia, Noel Perreault of San Jose, Calif., and Wanda Fay of Marshall; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, James; one uncle; and one nephew.
