Charles William "Paris" Powell, 40, of Marshall, died Saturday, Jan. 27, 2007, in Marshall.

Born Nov. 21, 1966, in Marshall, he was the son of Mary Margaret Shull Collins, who survives of Marshall, and William J. Powell, who survives of Camdenton. On Feb. 14, 1999, he married Sheryl Kay Lindsay, who survives of Marshall. He had lived in Marshall and Kansas City, Kan., most of his life where he worked in various businesses.
Additional survivors include three sons, Shaun Lindsay of Marshall, Jacob Powell of Mt. Leonard and Hunter Phillips of Camdenton; two daughters, Tiffany Johnson of Higginsville and Shauna Lindsay of Marshall; two grandsons, Michael Stimel and Caleb Stimel; four brothers, Willie Powell of Yakima, Wash., Don Treece of Kansas City, Gary Treece of Marshall and Mark Treece of Kansas City, Kan; three sisters, Angel Lynn Spaulding of Yakima, Wash., Juanita Kay Powell of Kansas City, Kan., and Anna May Bryant of Yakima, Wash.; two stepsisters, Tammy Cruze of Columbia and Pamela Moody of Marshall; his stepfather, Richard V. Martin; his stepmother, Treeca L. Powell; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
