Aileen Hulett Ballard, 85, of Marshall, died Thursday, Jan. 25, 2007, at Big Bend Retreat in Slater.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 29, 2007, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall. William W. Harlow will officiate. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. Born Sept. 7, 1921, in Mt. Leonard, she was the daughter of the late Charles Robbins and Jesse McCracken Robbins. On June 21, 1941, in Sedalia, she married G.W. "Dub" Hulett, who preceded her in death on Dec. 1, 1988. On June 26, 1990, she married John William Ballard. who preceded her in death on March 14, 1994. She had lived in Marshall most of her life and was owner/operator of Co-Ed Beauty Shop. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Bobbie True and her husband, Bill "Buzzy," of Arrow Rock; two grandsons, Tony True and his wife, Andrea, of Ridgefield, Conn., and Tim True and his wife, Heather, of Lee's Summit; three great-grandchildren, Andy True, Lindsay True and Owen True; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
