Victoria Elizabeth Tennill, 66, of Fredericktown, formerly of Marshall, died Sunday, Jan. 21, 2007, at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 26, 2007, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall. Pastor Dwight Presson will officiate. Burial will be in Gilliam Cemetery in Gilliam. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or American Cancer Society.
Born Oct. 8, 1940, in St. Genevieve County, she was the daughter of the late John Humm and Lora Barton Humm. On Oct. 4, 1965 , she married David F. Tennill, who survives of the home. She had lived in Fredericktown since 1998, moving there from Marshall. She retired from Marshall Habilitation Center after 30 years of service, and was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Fredericktown.
Additional survivors include one son, John Davis of St. Louis; five daughters, Debra Sims of Greenville, Texas, Terry Taylor of Slater, Sue Bellamy of Marshall, Lora Sullivan of Marshall and Tina Maicher of Kansas City; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Beulah Miller of Fredericktown and Delores Riley of St. Louis; one brother, Everett Holmes of Fredericktown; along with several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Dwayne Tennill; two sisters; and one brother.
