Brian Theodore Smith, 22, of Blackwater, died on Saturday, Jan. 6, 2007, at home.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2007, at S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Bob Duesdieker and Deacon David Miller officiating, Burial will be in the Old Lamine Cemetery in Blackwater. Visitation will be Monday, Jan. 8, 2007, at S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church from 6 to 8 p.m., with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Memorials may be made to the family for the Brian T. He was born Sept. 26, 1984, in Columbia, the son of Ted and Martha Rustemeyer Smith of Blackwater. He was a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus, and member of the S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Boonville. He was an avid hunter, angler, and skillful young mechanic. He graduated from Boonville High School in 2004.
He is survived by his parents, of the home; a sister, Amy Fredrick, of Green Ridge; maternal grandparents, Leonard and Marie Rustemeyer, of Salisbury; one nephew; numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Eddie Lee Jr. and Mary E. Smith, of Blackwater; and one uncle.
