Lula Mae (Punkie) Fornshell, 62, of Nelson, died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2006, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2007, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall. Rev. Gene Ekstrand, Ben Edwards and Rev. Murlin Anstine will officiate. Visitation will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Nelson Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mike Deal, Bobby Campbell, Junior Campbell, Johnny Rohde, David Fornshell and Dale Howard. Memorials may be made to family choice. Born June 10, 1944, in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late Hershel Elmo Campbell and Dora Lou Adams Campbell. On June 11, 1961, in Nelson, she married Delbert A. Fornshell, who survives of the home. She had lived in Nelson her entire life and was a member of Nelson Assembly of God. She had worked at the Marshall Habilitation Center, Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall and Lamy's in Sedalia.
Additional survivors include two sons, Hershel Fornshell and his wife, Teleina, of Windsor, and Steven Fornshell and his wife, April, of Marshall; one daughter, Denise Crusha and her husband, Jim, of Windsor; seven grandchildren; one sister, Carol Adams and her husband, Randy, of Marshall; one brother, Tim Campbell and his wife, Brenda, of Boonville; and several nieces and nephews.
