Thomas J. Penny, 65, of Kansas City, formerly of Marshall, died Thursday, Dec. 14, 2006, at his home.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 22, 2006, at Old Lamine Cemetery in Cooper County. Rev. Carl Defreece will officiate. Memorials may be made to family choice c/o Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Online condolences may be made to www.campbell-lewis.com.
Born May 21, 1941, in Cole County, he was the son of the late Joseph E. Penny and Gladys G. Stith Penny, who survives, of Independence. He had lived in Kansas City the last few years, moving from Marshall, and was owner/operator of Mid State Pest Control for many years.
Additional survivors include one daughter, Belynda Jasper of Cole Camp; two grandchildren; two brothers, Larry Penny of Independence, and Barry Penny of Columbia; and two nieces and two nephews.
