Pauline Bear
Pauline Bear, 86, of Greentop, formerly of Sweet Springs and Marshall, died Monday, Nov. 27, 2006, at Knox County Nursing Home in Edina,

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, 2006, at Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. William W. Harlow will officiate. Pallbearers will be Brad Clark, Gary Clark, Boyd "Charles" Clinkenbeard and Patrick Bingham. Visitation will be held Saturday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Memorials may be made to Knox County Nursing Home or Adair County Hospice.

Born June 9, 1920, in Forest City, she was the daughter of the late James McClanahan and Mae Kelly McClanahan. She had lived in Greentop the past seven years, moving from Marshall, and had also lived in Sweet Springs. She was retired from the Marshall Habilitation Center.

Survivors include two daughters, Pat Clinkenbeard of Aurora and Charlotte Clark of Greentop; one son, Charles Nichols of Marshall; seven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Cleo Blake of Shawnee, Kan.; one brother, Jim McClanahan Jr. of Findlay, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Ronnie Sybrant; one brother, Bill McClanahan; and one half-sister, Gwendolyn Dyer.
