Alma E. "Sugar" Howard

Alma E. "Sugar" Howard, 87, formerly of Marshall and Sedalia, died Oct. 10, 2006, in a nursing home in Modesto, Calif.

Graveside services will held at Crown Hill Cemetery, Sedalia, on Nov. 21, 2006, at 4 p.m. Rev. Michael Stephenson will officiate.

She was the daughter of Lena and Albert Gordy.

She is survived by four children, Finis Stephenson of Modesto, Dale Stephenson of Ionia, Ron Howard of Arizona, and a daughter; 18 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two grandsons.
