Edna L. Marks, 83, of Marshall, died Thursday, Nov. 2, 2006, at The Living Center in Marshall.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2006, at Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. Rev. Wayne Doolin will officiate. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association c/o Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall.
Born Dec. 4, 1922, in Napton, she was the daughter of the late Enoch H. Hinton and Mabel Niceley Hinton. On Aug. 16, 1942, in Marshall, she married Lloyd M. Marks, who preceded her in death Jan. 15, 1996. She had lived in Marshall most of her life and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Marshall. She was a homemaker and had worked for the Saline County ASCS office.
Survivors include one son, Lloyd Richard Marks and wife, Margie, of Marshall; two grandchildren, Heather Steed and Jeremy Marks; three great-grandchildren, Jessica and Christopher Steed and Cody Marks; three sisters, Anna Belle Krager of Columbia, Irene "Pete" Metzger of San Jose, Calif. and Betty Kreisel of Rocheport; one brother, Robert Hinton of Windsor; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Jamie Marks, two sisters, Violet Page and Helen Lecus, and one brother, Bill Hinton.
