Robert Earl Bouge, 81, of Marshall, died Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2006, at The Living Center in Marshall.
Visitation will be on Sunday, Oct. 29, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Home, Cape Girardeau. Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, Oct. 30, at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Cy Smith officiating. Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau. Full military honors will be presented by the Missouri Honor Guard. Memorials may be made to Fitzgibbon Mary Montgomery Hospice in Marshall.
He was born Feb. 5, 1925, in Villisca, Iowa, the son of Selwyn and Ruth Shadwell Bouge. He married Daphna Keller Bouge on March 13, 1946, in Cape Girardeau; she survives at the home. He lived part of his life in the Cape Girardeau and Chaffee areas and then moved to Marshall in 1975. He was manager of Midwest Veterinary Supply in Marshall. He served in the Navy from Oct. 28, 1942, to Jan. 4, 1946, and then was recalled for 14 months in 1950 and 1951.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four sons, Donald Bouge and his wife, Paula, of Oran; Gary Bouge and his wife, Debra, of St. Petersburg, Fla.; Bill Bouge and his wife, Melaine, of Hendersonville, Tenn.; and Scott Bouge of Marshall; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, and a sister.
