Bruce D. Leimkuehler, 44, of rural Slater, died Saturday, Oct. 21, 2006, at his home.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2006, at 10:30 a.m. at the Zion United Church of Christ in Arrow Rock. Rev. Tony Gallagher will officiate. Lois Jean Weiker organist will play "How Great Thou Art" and "Amazing Grace." Burial will be in the Salem United Church of Christ Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Leimkuehler, Kenny Leimkuehler, Bill Leimkuehler, Greg Kateman, Gary Johnson and Bobby Thomason. Visitation will be from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Weiker Funeral Home in Slater. Memorials are suggested to the Salem United Church of Christ Building Fund.
Born Dec. 30, 1961, in Marshall, he was the son of Robert and Wally Neal Leimkuehler, who survive of the home. He married Teri Minor and she survives of Glasgow.
Leimkuehler was a member of the Salem United Church of Christ. He was employed as a welder at W.B. Young Co. in Marshall.
Also surviving are two step-children, David Thomas of Slater and Lesley Boss of Glasgow; a step-grandson; two brothers, Jeff Leimkuehler of rural Slater and David Leimkuehler of rural Gilliam and two nieces and a nephew.
