Kathie Heim, 63, of Sweet Springs, died Monday Oct. 2, 2006, at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, Oct. 6, 2006, at First Baptist church in Sweet Springs with Rev. Charles Ahlemann officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. Thursday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Sweet Springs. Family visitation will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to family choice.
Born June 14, 1943, in rural Saline County, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie Francis Sims and Frances Eloise Griffitt Sims. She had lived in the Sweet Springs area her entire life, and was a graduate of Sweet Springs High School. She was a Certified Nurse's Aide for nearly 20 years at Community Hospital in Sweet Springs. She then worked for Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall for 15 years until her death. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Sweet Springs.
Survivors include three sons, Jeff Fuehring of rural Sweet Springs, Bobby Fuehring of Sweet Springs and Kevin Fuehring of Concordia; one daughter, Sherry Minkler of Marshall; 11 grandchildren; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
