Elda F. Bond, 98, of Hamilton, died Sunday, Sept. 24, 2006, in Cameron.

Graveside service and internment will be at 10:30 a.m., on Thursday, Sept. 28, 2006, at Mt. Nebo Cemetery in Grand Pass. Visitation will be held at the Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton, after noon on Wednesday.

She was born on May 16, 1908, in Hopewell, to Henry and Mary Luetkemeyer Bierbaum. On Feb. 14, 1930, she married Ernest G. Bond in Carrollton. She retired as a seamstress for Burlington Coat. She attended the United Church of Christ while living in Kansas City and had formerly lived in Kingston.

She is survived by her brother Orlando Bierbaum, Bedford, Ind.; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two brothers, and one sister.
