Louise Hardison, 93, of Concordia died Saturday, Sept. 16, 2006, at The Lutheran Nursing Home in Concordia.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2006, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Concordia. Rev. Tim Biesemeyer will officiate. Burial will be in Pisgah Cemetery at Elmwood. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and memorials may be made to The Lutheran Nursing Home. Pallbearers will be Leland Hardison, Julie Hardison, Faydra Hardison, Joe Steinkuhler, Jae Steinkuhler, and Jack Crawford. Honorary pallbearers will be Katrina Doud and Carl Doud.
Born March 6, 1913, in Elmwood, she was the daughter of the late George F. Mueller and Isabelle Smith Mueller. On June 29, 1942, she married Harvey E. Hardison, who preceded her in death on Feb. 22, 1964. She was a graduate of Sweet Springs High School and had lived in Concordia since 1961 where she was a Certified Nurses Aid at The Lutheran Nursing Home for 10 years, and a homemaker. She was a member of Elmwood Methodist Church.
Survivors include one son, Larry Hardison of Concordia; one daughter, Judy Steinkuhler, of Concordia; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Leland Mueller of Sweet Springs; one sister, Bernice Bottoms of Gardner, Kan,; along with several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth A. Mueller and Byron Mueller; two sisters, Lucille Mueller in infancy, and Kathleen Craig.
