Adell N. Hulen, 82, of Marshall, died Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2006, at her home.

Cremation. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, 2006, at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The Rev. Charles R. Ahlemann will officiate. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Sweeney Reser Wills Funeral Home in Marshall.

She was born Dec. 14, 1923, at Sedalia, the daughter of the late Kenneth Cook and Loma Mae McLaughlin Cook. She married Ralph Hulen on March 9, 1958, at Marshall, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 11, 1976. She had been a resident of Marshall since 1955 and had been employed at Con Agra for many years before her retirement. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Marshall.

Survivors include two sons, Keith A. Diamond of Spring Hill, Kan. and James R. Diamond of Sweet Springs; two daughters, Barbara Craig of San Diego, Calif. and Paula Desmond of Hemet, Calif.; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Anna Norene Diamond; one brother and one sister.
