Mildred E. Beach, 91, of Marshall, died Sunday, Sept. 3, 2006, at Fitzgibbon Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2006, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall with Rev. Dale Bean officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or Restless Leg Syndrome Foundation.
Born Sept. 21, 1914, in Saline County, she was the daughter of the late James Henry Brayman and Evelyn Alspach Brayman. She was married to Walter Scott Beach, who preceded her in death. She had lived in Marshall her entire life and was a graduate of Marshall High School. She had worked at Doyle Stationary in Marshall, Lake City Arsenal, and was a homemaker. She was a longtime member of First Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Vonda Beach of Sedalia; two grandchildren, Mike Beach of Sedalia and Sandra Joseph of Belleville, Ill.; four great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; one niece, Georgia Nell Swope of Pueblo, Colo.; along with one great-niece and several great-nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Barbara Beach; two sons, Bob Beach and Bill Beach; one grandson, Richard Beach; one granddaughter, Diana Beach; one brother and one sister.
