Margaret M. Sporleder, 91, of Marshall, died Sunday, Sept. 3, 2006, at Fitzgibbon Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 7, 2006, at St. Peter Catholic Church. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to St. Peter Catholic Church in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home.
Born April 16, 1915, in St. Cloud, Minn., she was the daughter of the late John Jansky and Ottilia Langer Jansky. On Oct. 20, 1937, she married Howard W. "Bud" Sporleder, who preceded her in death on Jan. 23, 1977. She had lived in the Springfield and Marshall areas for many years and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and its Altar and Rosary Society.
Survivors include two sons, Richard J. Sporleder of Marshall and Howard N. Sporleder of Climax Springs; one daughter, Joy Ann Bryan of Springfield; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one grandson; four brothers, including her twin, and three sisters.
