Mary A. "Sissie" Sailor, 82, of Marshall, died Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2006, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 1, 2006, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall. Rev. Pam Sebastian will officiate. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church.
Born Oct. 7, 1923, in Saline County, she was the daughter of the late Virgil A. Roscher and Georgia Frieben Mayfield. She was a graduate of Marshall High School. On Oct. 19, 1968, she married Milton Junior "Birdie" Sailor, who preceded her in death Nov. 5, 1987. She had lived in Marshall most of her life and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She was retired from Bell Telephone and the Marshall Habilitation Center. She was a charter member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, and a member of Marshall Chapter 408 Order of the Eastern Star and the White Shrine.
Survivors include one sister, Charlene Romero of Marshall; and two aunts.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one nephew, David Romero.
