Anna Bell Reed, 82, of Slater, died Friday, Aug. 25, 2006, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 31, 2006, at Cameron Memory Gardens Cemetery in Cameron. William W. Harlow will officiate. Friends may call Wednesday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Memorials may be made to the Lighthouse Shelter.
Born Sept. 25, 1923, in Richmond, she was the daughter of the late Jack Alonzo Reed and Mary Elizabeth Templeton Reed. She was married to Wayne C. Reed who preceded her in death. She had lived in Slater since 2000 moving from Kansas City and was a laboratory technician for many years and a homemaker. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include one son, Russell Reynolds of Kansas City, Kans.; two daughters, Dee Cunningham of the state of Texas and Mary Ann Whitely of Slater; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Sherry Kirkpatrick, and one sister, Margaret Reynolds.
