Carl F. "Bo" Haynie, 72, passed away at his home in Boonville on Thursday, Aug. 3, 2006.
Visitation will be at Davis Funeral Chapel in Boonville on Sunday evening from 4 to 6 p.m. Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 7, 2006 at the funeral home with burial at St. Martins Cemetery at Martinsville. Friends may register online at: davisfuneralchapelboonville.com
He was born in Miami, on April 23, 1934, the son of Floyd Haynie and Mary 'Ryan' Haynie. He was married to Kathryn Hoff on Sept. 19, 1959 at the Martinsville Catholic Church.
He served his country in the U.S. Army from 1956-1958 and was stationed in Berlin, Germany for those two years. 'Bo' was a cattle buyer for several area packing houses and cattle feeders for a good number of years. Prior to his cattle buying years he was employed with the Hayes and Painter Funeral Home in Pilot Grove. He then became affiliated with Woods Funeral Home as a funeral director, under his friend, Charlie Murdock, in Boonville, until his retirement. He was a member of the Pilot Grove Lions Club until he moved to Boonville.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers; Jack, L. G. and William Haynie and by two sisters, Ola Chambers and Marvelle Ott. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn of the home, his daughters, Karen Einspahr and son-in-law Blaine of Boonville and Carla Wirths and son-in-law, Darrell of Lee's Summit; his sister, Evanelle 'Nanny' Thomas, of Marshall. He will also be dearly missed by his two granddaughters.
The family requests, that in lieu of flowers, memorials be directed to DC I (Dialysis Clinics Inc.) in care of the funeral home.
